Summer FUN
The Summer holidays are in full swing and we have a range of activities to keep children engaged at our Courses in Queen Alexandra College and Turves Green Boys’ School
We realise it can be a difficult task for parents to keep children entertained for the duration of the School Holidays, which is why we are fully committed to providing the local community with affordable Action-Packed Childcare.
So what have we done so far?
Children have been participating in a variety of sporting activities which have ultimately enabled them to build their social skills and confidence.
This Summer, we decided to make our courses more interactive for the children and we arranged extra activities which included Bouncy Castles, Face Painting and an Animal Zoo to keep children's brains fully engaged.
Face Painting
On Thursday 9th August, we invited Sara’s Face Painting Parlour. Children had a myriad of looks and styles – from small bejeweled eye designs to a full face design.
Animal Mania
On Friday 17th August, we were extremely pleased to have Carla from Animal Mania who came to visit us with her mobile zoo. This included a variety of different animals including Chinchilla’s, Frogs, Snakes, and Rabbits.
It was a great way for children to develop their listening skills whilst Carla was explaining fun facts about each animal that came to visit us for the day.
