The Atom Game is this week’s PE Activity of the Week, which focuses on a fun mimicking idea.
Active Superstars plan, coordinate and prepare fun, energising games for children to participate in during our sports sessions. The Object of the Game:
The object of the game is for children to mimic a penguin and race to one end of the hall before others, whilst keeping up with their penguin impression!
Skills Acquired:
- Running
- Coordination
- Teamwork
Instructions:
- Children start by imitating penguins and pretending to walk how a penguin does
- Children should also mimic what they do with their wings and the noises that they make
- The children will then line up in groups and have to race from one end of the hall to the other, imitating a penguin
