This week’s PE Activity of the Week is Bump Tag, which focuses on teamwork, running and cooperation.
Active Superstars plan, coordinate and prepare fun, energising games for children to participate in during our sports sessions. The Object of the Game:
The object of the game is to keep an eye out for if you suddenly become the mouse!
Skills Acquired:
- Running
- Teamwork
- Coordination
- Control
Instructions:
- The leader selects a cat and mouse from the group
- All other children pair up and sand side by side
- The cat has to chase the mouse, but the mouse can tap a paired group who then become the mouse and have to run around in their pair
- If the cat catches the mouse, the mouse then becomes the cat
