I am writing to you with regards to new Government IR35 legislation which comes into effect from the 6th April 2017.
Following an announcement in the Chancellors Autumn statement, it has been confirmed that anyone working ‘Off Payroll’ in the public sector must pay the right amount of tax and National Insurance and the responsibility for such deductions lies with the employer (or entity who pays the worker).
‘Off Payroll’ describes all workers that are not paid through PAYE (Pay As You Earn) - this means if you work through your own Personal Service Company (PSC) or are a Limited Company.
I confirm that Steps2sport do not supply staff on a self-employed/PSC basis as all tax and National Insurance is deducted at source therefore no liability will be passed onto your school.
If you need any further information/clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,
Jimmy Haarhoff
